We would like to share the march with you!

THE ABOVE PIC…THE END of March and the destination for the ‘rally

Behind me is the assistant to the Attorney General in Kansas . He walked behind me the entire two mile March…reading the back of the ‘prop’.

LOL See the Harley cop in the background…? In my hand and in my brief case…heavy on my neck…!!

Jeeeze I was so tired here..but hey I did the 2 mile march….!!!

I carried ‘packets’ for media press and about 200 + flyers for the Breaking the Silence and local air times..!!

It was a light rain and mist on us through the entire March…It really poured.

The Coffin dad still has in his house….carried by a mom who is ‘gagged’ and holding the Flag…

In a skirt to honor the 19th amendment and the women’s suffrage…en re Lucy Burns etc…

Reaching the end of the March…we have arrived at our destination…where the rally continues…!!

The line was spread out about 1.5 miles…some walked faster than others….LOL

I also had a “packet”…for media…and Politicians… and carried another set of JUST the Breaking the Silence…flyers and local air times…!!

These were ALL distributed out…PRIOR to the airing of Breaking the Silence!!!!

Mrs. Stephan....(in dress) and broken toe..Her husband Bob Stephan is the head of a 16 member DV Fatality Review Pane instituted by the Governor of Kansas, Sebelius.

In all these photos NOTICE the piece of paper that most are carrying..rolled up..etc...

These are the Breaking the Silence Fliers!!!

Here we are having free drinks and hot dogs…The woman to the left in the dark jacket is the Director (Lisa Hecht) to the local crisis center..

AND the DA’s daughter. Here in Shawnee County Ks …..

When the March began….I gave her a flyer…She of course was unaware of the Documentary…She ALSO Warned me ..that the Judge..Now Chief Judge…Who did the custody switch on his OWN motion would be here…

I never saw him…

Here we are all resting eating and drinking….The rest of the rally …speakers and ‘skit’..will begin soon…

Still eating…drinking and ’bonding’ we all have a common thread…We survived….!!!

Left to right on the stage

Sitting…

Bob Stephan, head of DV fatality review committee, (has in his hand the Breaking the Silence Flyer) Lisa Hecht, BWTF, 1st assistant to the AG and Marilyn Ault, Retired DV advocate.

If you have a story of a loved one that has lost the fight against Domestic Violence, please share it with us.  We would like to continue sharing the stories in hope that others will see just what Domestic Violence is, a travesty that must end.

If you are a Non-Custodial Mother, and would like support, or can share your case file, please contact us.  You are NOT alone.......

If you are a Victim or Survivor of Domestic Violence, and you have not received the help that you needed, or did not gain justice through the courts, please, let us know.  We must work together to bring about a change, and the only way to do that is to show the problem.

Enough is ENOUGH!  Together, we CAN and WILL make a difference!

A victim's first scream is for help: a victim's second scream is for justice."-
