UAADV Group Projects


These are some of the projects that we are now working on.

One member in our group has been writing to companies regarding using these companies to help Raise Awareness of DV.  We would like to share her progress and responses she has gotten to you.

For Kids by Kids

This is a list of feelings that children have that we are going to put on our site.  In this way, we hope to reach out to children and let them know that DV and what happens to them is not their fault.  That their feelings aren't wrong, but misdirected.  To help kids deal with what has happened to them and their family.  We are planning on doing it so that it is on their level and is easily understood.  Many of us have children that have been greatly affected by DV, sexual abuse, mental abuse, witnesses.  In this list or page we are going to address how children feel, what they say, and answer them in a way they can understand to hopefully help them through their tough times.  Maybe even help a parent reach out to their children as well.

If you would like to contribute to this, please, share with us!!  The more of us that reaches out to the children of today, the more we can help the adults of tomorrow.

Angel Wings

We are going to be offering Angel Wings for Survivors through our site.  These wings will have the name of the Survivor, and their freedom date on it.  We are asking for a $5 donation for these Angel Wings to go towards our projects, maintaining this site, and to help others.   

Here is an example of what the wings will look like.  Let's celebrate our freedom, as well as show Victims that freedom can be achieved!

We will also be offering wings for those that didn't make it.  On these wings will be a name, date of birth and date of death.  We would like to remember those that didn't make it through.........

Purple Ribbon Project

On our site we will be putting up a store called "The Purple Ribbon Project".  We will be offering things that Survivors make as well as supporters against DV. In this way, we hope to raise awareness of DV, and help Survivors make a little cash to help them out as well as obtaining money to help our projects.  We ask that those that are willing to list things that they have made on our site to donate 15% towards UAADV.  This is less then most craft sites ask for, and the money will be put to a good cause.
