Every Day is Child Abuse Awareness Day
When children are removed from
their homes in order to protect them, they deserve to be safer in state foster
care than when in their own home.
If we cannot assure their safety in foster care, they need to be left in their
own homes.
Foster Care Facilities must be
held to a Higher standard of care instead of Minimum Standards of Care.

We, the
Courageous Kids Network,
are a growing group of young people, whose childhood was shattered by biased and
inhumane court rulings, which forced us to live with our abusive parent, while
restricting or sometimes completely eliminating contact with our loving and
protective parent.

Hope4Kidz
Since 1998, Hope4KidZ has been a grassroots
effort giving a voice to abused, neglected, and abandoned children who are in
the care, custody, and control of state foster care agencies.
We've had the pleasure of working with
the President of Hope4Kidz. She is a kind, caring, and passionate woman that
truly works hard to help protect our children.

Hope4Survivors
This site for DV Survivors was made by a
Survivor so that she can share her experiences and insight to help others. On
her website is a list of Survivors and their sites as well.
If you are a Survivor of childhood
physical, sexual, or emotional or are a survivor of any kind of domestic
violence, please consider this a safe haven! You are not a victim, you are a
survivor! You are NOT alone!

KNOWLEDGE is POWER.
The
information on this site is not intended to be legal advice. We are not lawyers.
We suggest you contact an attorney, and study the law yourself to be informed.
Our
website IS intended to help fit and loving mothers who wish to continue to be
the primary caretakers of their children. If you have visited our site because
you are finding yourself in the middle of contested child custody litigation,
you have our most heartfelt sympathies.

Silent Witness
Mission Statement is to promote peace, healing and responsibility in adult
relationships in order to eliminate domestic murders in the United States by the
year 2010.
The Silent Witness Project is a group
that is trying to end domestic violence by the year 2010. We have displays
across the country and throughout the world that are life-size figures of women
who have been killed by domestic violence. The exhibit has a true story on each
of the figures. It is a powerful and moving statement that helps people look at
the issue.
This the link to
Sheila's
Shawls, which is Silent Witnesses outreach
group. They are a group of very caring knitter's and crocheter's who make
Shawls, Scarves, Stoles and Quilt for Kids. If you knit or crochet, and you
have a kind heart and some time on your hands, please, check out the Sheila's
Shawls group! It would mean so much to Survivors and Families of DV Victims.

Stop Family Violence's mission is to
organize and amplify our nation's collective voice against family violence. We
are a catalyst for social change - empowering people to take action at the
local, state and national level to ensure safety, justice, accountability and
healing for people whose lives are affected by violent relationships. Our goal
is family peace.

WomensLaw.org

or escaping domestic violence. By reaching out through the Internet, we empower
women and girls to lead independent lives, free from abuse. As you will see on
these pages, the site publishes state-specific legal information for domestic
violence. It also publishes information on getting help in your community. We
also provide help through email, directly to women and advocates, throughout the
U.S.

If you have a story
of a loved one that has lost the fight against Domestic Violence, please
share
it with us. We would like to continue sharing the
stories in hope that others will see just what Domestic Violence is, a travesty
that must end.
If you are a
Non-Custodial Mother, and would like support, or can share your case file,
please contact
us. You are NOT alone.......
If you are a Victim
or Survivor of Domestic Violence, and you have not received the help that you
needed, or did not gain justice through the courts, please,
let us
know. We must work together to bring about a change,
and the only way to do that is to show the problem.
Enough is ENOUGH!
Together, we CAN and WILL make a difference!
A victim's first scream is
for help: a victim's second scream is for justice."-
